Angles.
The shutter caught
the esplanade, rain-black railings,
salt breezes, circus striped deck-chairs, sun-umbrellas, warm blues and yellow into the seascape,
handwritten messages,
green and silver, littered squares,
tents in orange sunlight,
sunlight in shadows, red rocks,
paddle-boats, trees,
violet field
and sometimes even you,
holding a quiet smile
towards the camera
Fragments of what could have been
before black and white interrupted the
world
and they gave it away.
